
Neleman Organic Vineyards night-harvest Tempranillo and Monastrell grapes from mountainous vineyards at 700m above sea level in the Valencia region of Spain. Cool maceration of the must is followed by 3 days controlled fermentation for a fresh, youthful wine. Brilliant crimson with ruby hues in colour, this wine has aromatics of bright red fruits and florals. The palate is fleshy, soft and silky with excellent natural acidity. Serve lightly chilled with black pepper steak, lamb koftas, spicy curries or pepperoni pizza. Derrick Neleman studied to become a biodynamic farmer and ended up on the vineyards in Spain, where he realised the cultural and historic importance of wine. Neleman make beautiful wines in optimal cooperation with nature, and their organic wine is made without the use of pesticides or additives.
