Producer Profile
Bodegas Alceño have been producing wine in Jumilla since 1870, making them one of the oldest to commercialise the wines of the region.
Now owned by Familia Bastida, winemaking follows modern techniques yet without losing the tradition and identity of this historical bodega.
Viticulture
Vineyards of calcareous soils, in the mediterranean climate of Murcia (South-East of Spain), at between 600-800 meters above sea level.
Winemaking
Cryo-maceration at 10º C for around 6 hours, static cleaning and fermentation at 18º C.
Tasting Note
Bright, ripe, tropical, a real fruit bowl of flavours- this has Lela's unmistakable stamp of unalloyed fun. Fresh and delicious.
