The Estate Gaëlle and Jérôme began their joint venture in 2005 by renting a parcel of vines in the commune of Bouzeron. It wasn’t until 2007 that the duo began to make and bottle their own wine. The Domaine has gone from strength to strength and is now made up of over 6 hectares of vines situated in Mercurey, Puligny-Montrachet and Santenay. The land is cared for and farmed sustainably and Gaëlle and Jérôme continue to produce wines that emphasise fruit above all, with oak taking a supportive role. Winemaking A blend of two parcels from the Meursault side, the vines are planted in limestone and clay soils. Grapes are harvested by hand. After settling, the wine is racked into French oak barrels (30% new oak). There is no chaptalisation or addition of selected yeasts.
