The estate was originally purchased as a holiday home for Parisian glove maker, Aime Guibert and his family in 1970. However, a visiting oenologist friend from Bordeaux, Henri Enjalbert, identified a particular red soil within the grounds that shared many characteristics with some of the great estates from Bordeaux and Burgundy. As a result, 1.6ha of Cabernet Sauvignon Vines were planted in 1971 and the first wines were released in 1972. Following Gault et Millau's description of the estate as 'the Lafite of the Languedoc', the wines quickly gained cult status and the wines have now become highly prized. Today there are over 30ha of vines producing a superb range of organic red, white and dessert wines. The Reserve de Gassac Rose is an unoaked blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan and is designed to be drunk young.

A pale salmon-pink in colour. Aromas of summer red fruits and pink grapefruit. On the palate, fresh and light with a bright acidity.

Easy drinking, slips down very well. Creamy fruits
