Charalaboglou is a family-run organic estate at the foot of Mount Pangaion in Serres, northern Greece, founded in 1977 and now farming around 150 acres organically. "Anthesis" (the flowering stage of the vine) is their range of small-batch, low-intervention wines made from rare indigenous Greek grapes. This bottling is 100% Koiniariko, a late-ripening local variety, aged for around 10 months in a mix of new and old French oak.

Tasting Notes A graceful, medium-bodied red with an inviting nose of wild strawberries, sweet spice and cracked black pepper. The palate offers black cherry, subtle herbs and a touch of dry earth, framed by smooth tannins and fresh acidity — savoury and fruit-driven in equal measure, with a soft, lingering finish.

Beautiful fragrant wine, lovely freshness
