A classic claret. Cherry red colour, with an intensive floral nose followed by a rich fruity palate dominated by crunchy red fruit notes. A very aromatic, well-balanced but, robust wine. Located in Saint Pey d’Armens, one of the eight parcels making up Saint Emilion, Château Le Freyche is a small of estate of 3.6 hectares composed of 75% merlot and 25% cabernet franc. Established in 1970 by Henri Domézil, it is currently managed by his son, Claude, producing wines with silky tannins and delicate aromas of fresh, delicious red fruit.
