With Mami they have chosen to break away from the classic mould: it is a revolutionary wine, which dialogues with the past but projects it towards the future. On the label it is straightforward, without embellishments or frills, as Piacenza people know how to be. In the glass they can tell you about Piacenza and Val Trebbia down to the smallest details.
Manual collection in boxes. A part of the grapes is harvested late in order to ensure a greater sugar and aromatic concentration in the bunches. A soft pressing follows. Fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature, the wine obtained from overripe grapes is aged in second and third passage French oak barriques. For the rest of the wine, however, ageing in steel is expected. The assembly is then carried out in the tank, followed by bottling.
Deep yellow colour, with golden reflections, bright. Good acidity combined with a complex minerality, which makes the wine very particular and with a certain length of taste. The residual sugar that characterises it ensures a pleasant drinking experience. On the nose, immediate hints of white flowers with hints of exotic and white pulp fruit.
