The vines for The Ruse are planted at altitude in the cooler slopes of the Pyrenees on clay and limestone in cool Haute Vallée de l’Aude. A great advantage of the climate here is the that warm sunshine is tempered by the cooler nights, giving ideal conditions for a longer, slower ripening period for the grapes. This helps to give the wine it’s freshness, but also a greater level of complexity.
Brilliant, bright red fruits and freshness. Think cranberries, redcurrants with just a tiny, tiny hint of cocoa. Great freshness and pure drinkability.
